Overview
Ol Pejeta Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five”. Ol Pejeta has over 10000 large mammals and it is the only park sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. It is also where the fastest growing population of rhino in Africa can be found. There are southern white rhino, about 80 endangered black rhino and in a special sanctuary there are three of the world’s last four remaining northern white rhino.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: – Nairobi –Olpejeta
Ol pejeta is in Central Kenya’s Laikipia County. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. It is the largest black rhino sanctuary in east Africa, and home to three of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. It is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, in a Sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market. It has some of the highest predator densities in Kenya, and still manages a very successful livestock program. Ol Pejeta also seeks to support the people living around its borders, to ensure wildlife conservation translates to better education, healthcare and infrastructure for the next generation of wildlife guardians.
Early morning begin your journey to the privately Conservancy where your drive ends and another adventure begins. One of only four private wildlife reserves in Kenya, you can opt to go for wildlife drives in search of the ‘Big Five’. Watch a parade of elephant, giraffe, zebra and impala come to drink at the camp’s floodlit waterhole and saltlick. Optional activities abound, you may choose to go on a night drive in search of nocturnal species, go on a nature walk or join a rhino patrol with experienced armed rangers to find and monitor black rhino. This is at own cost.

Day 2: Olpejeta Conservancy – Nairobi
You could opt for an early morning game drive with a return back to the camp for breakfast and later on proceed for full day game drive with packed lunch or morning and afternoon game drive, with a return back to the camp for lunch.
This day you can visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary which is also situated in the conservancy and provides a haven for orphaned, abandoned and rescued chimpanzees. It is the only place in Kenya where these great apes can be seen.

Day 3: Olpejeta Conservancy – Nairobi
Early morning game drive, return back to camp for breakfast. After check out and depart with more game as you exit the park and begin your journey back to Nairobi.

Cancellation & No Show
Reservations/Bookings that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers of participants (hereinafter collectively called CANCELLATION) are subject to cancellation and No Show fees. The scale of charges, expressed as a percentage of the tour prices, is as follows:
More than 8 week notice: – Deposit refunded less 5% handling fee
8 weeks – 4 week notice: – 50%
Less than 3 week notice: – 60%
Less than 2 week notice:- 100%
Should you fail to join a tour or join it after departure or leave prior to its completion, no tour fare refund can be made. (Please note that if the reason for the cancellation falls within the terms of any holiday insurance policy, which you hold, then the insurance company, subject to the terms of your insurance will normally refund any such charges to you).
