Enter a landscape famously dotted with ancient giant baobab trees, large herds of majestic elephants and the winding Tarangire River. Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s third largest National Park and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. There is also a great diversity of Wildlife including giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards and cheetahs.

After breakfast, journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic wildlife sanctuary nestled between the Rift Valley escarpment and the shores of the lake. Enjoy a game drive through the park, looking out for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, abundant birdlife and, with luck, the park's famous tree-climbing lions.

As the afternoon unfolds, slow the pace and make your way to a beautiful viewpoint overlooking Lake Manyara. Settle in with a refreshing drink and watch the changing colours of the landscape as the sun begins to set over the lake.

Enjoy a memorable African sundowner surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Rift Valley — a perfect moment to pause, take in the scenery and savour the journey.

Overnight: Lake Manyara

Early rise, breakfast, check out and drive to the vast and golden plains of the Serengeti. It is a land unlike any other where lions roam freely, wildebeest graze, and the crocodile and hippo-filled rivers offer visitors plenty of drama!

Explore the plains immediately on arrival with a game drive enroute to your accommodation.

Have lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner & Overnight at your Lodge/Camp.

Spend the full day in the stage of the Great Wildebeest Migration. The Maasai say, the Serengeti plains are a place where the land moves on forever.

Track the apex predators, marveling at the sweeping golden grasslands, catch some wildlife/kill action and follow the Great Migration herds. Depending on the season, this focuses on the Southern Plains (calving), Western Corridor or Northern Serengeti (river crossings).

At dusk, your exploration of this paradise ends, and you’ll return to your camp/ Lodge for dinner and overnight.

You also have the option to enjoy some extra activities;

• Balloon Safari over the Mara plains followed by a champagne breakfast
• Bush meals, sundowners and sunrise experience. These experiences often involve fine dining out in the wilderness in secluded natural settings.

Begin your morning in the Serengeti with an early breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive, making the most of your final hours in this extraordinary wilderness.

Continue towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. The journey offers a wonderful transition between two of Tanzania's most iconic landscapes, with opportunities to stop for scenic views and photographs along the way. Depending on the location and arrival time, you may take a gentle nature walk or simply relax with a drink while enjoying the views. As evening falls, enjoy a relaxed dinner and prepare for the following day's Ngorongoro Crater experience.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Highlands

Begin early with a descent into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor. The enclosed ecosystem offers an exceptional concentration of wildlife, with opportunities to see elephants, buffalo, lions, hippos, flamingos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch or lunch at the appropriate point during the crater experience before ascending the crater walls. You’ll drive back to Arusha and transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home or next destination.
