Amboseli national parkis a land mark of big game adventure including free range of Elephant herds, Masai giraffes, spotted hyenas, cheetah, Grant zebras, lions, the great blue wildebeest, cape buffaloes, impalas, elephants, wild dogs, crocodiles, nocturnal porcupines, mongooses, dik -dik, lesser kudus, hippos, Rhinos and many more. The Park has a stunning place to view the highest Mountain in Africa Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National park was established to protect wildlife and the core ecosystem that make up the park to extend out across the border of Tanzania. The park is made up of embodies comprised of five main wildlife habitat such as open plains, woodland, acacia, rocky thorn bush county, swamps and Marsh land and also covers other areas of Pleistocene lake basin and dominated with dry areas outside during rainy seasons.

Lunch: Tamambo Karen Blixen Coffee Garden
– Return to colonial Africa with a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum. This house and surrounding land was once home to famous author Karen Blixen who penned the novel Out of Africa which later become an award-winning movie. The house was built in 1912 and Blixen lived there for over 10 years, running a large and successful coffee plantation. The museum offers continuous guided tours of the house, which features rooms designed in both the original decor and with props from the 1985 film, while the grounds feature original equipment from the coffee plantation and are also available to tour.
– Visit the Giraffe Center in Nairobi – Feed the lofty wildlife with a visit to the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi. This non-profit organization was originally opened in order to protect the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe that is found only on the plains of East Africa. Since its inception the programme has been highly successful and has re-introduced pairs of breeding Rothschild’s giraffe into various national parks in Kenya. The center also offers free environmental education to young Kenyans and promotes conservation efforts of endangered species in the country. While on your visit you will have the opportunity of getting close to a giraffe or two as well as feed them and watch as they delicately use their long tongues to take the food from your hand. There are also a few warthogs that roam freely amongst the giraffes and a gift shop for visitors to enjoy. Unique and exhilarating, this visit will get you as close as you possibly can to giraffe in Kenya.

– Discover the Masai Mara National Reserve, the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. Covering an area of 1510 km², the Masai Mara reserve is in fact the extension in Kenyan territory of the vast Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Together, they constitute a huge ecosystem in which animals move freely. All large African animals are present. Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, impala, Kirk’s dik-dik, bushbuck, topi, buffalo, ellipsen waterbuck, eland and giraffe, all are there. Famous for its rich wildlife, the Masai Mara is home to not only the “Big 5” (elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard) but also many birds (over 500 species of birds have been recorded). Along the rivers, crocodiles and hippos lie in wait. Composed of vast rolling plains and hills, the Masai Mara is dotted with umbrella thorn acacias and thorny thickets. In the Maa language, Mara means “spotted” and may refer to the colorful landscapes. Alternatively, the name may refer to the arrival of over two million herbivores during the annual migration (wildebeest, gazelles and zebras).

D7: Masai Mara
– Balloon safari (Optional)in the Masai Mara, a magical experience as you take in a bird’s eye view of the vast, rolling plains below you. This unique and exhilarating excursion takes place early in the morning when you can marvel at the fantastic sight of the rising sun and gently float over the thousands of animals below you. This is the best time to spot wildlife as well as enjoy the peaceful vistas and crisp, clear air. Undisturbed by your presence, the animals will continue with their daily activities as you snap away and marvel at the beauty of Africa. The balloon safari ends by touching down in the wilds of the Masai Mara to enjoy a delectable champagne breakfast.

D8: Masai Mara – Nairobi
– After breakfast, you will drive from the Mara past the Maasai villages where a cultural visit (optional) can be organized. You will have a chance to interact with the Maasai traditional communities and even have a tip on how to make the signature Maasai jump. You will drive to Nairobi with a stopover in Narok. You will be dropped at the Airport as we end our services.
