Lake Manyara National Park

The name Manyara comes from the Maasai word “emanyara”, which is the spiky, protective enclosure around a family homestead. Lake Manyara also consists of large herds of elephants and the lake is a host to thousands of flamingos. It is also a home to the largest concentration of baboons in the world.
