Your private safari adventure begins as we collect you from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Preferably before 7:00 AM, our driver-guide will meet you for a safari briefing and commence safari north to Samburu National Reserve. (In case of late arrival, acc. and transfer can be arranged at extra cost).
You will drive along the Mount Kenya mass, into the Samburu Depression and get a diverse glimpse of everyday Kenyan life pass through your car window. The Samburu Reserve lies in the heart of Northern Kenya, and leopards, lions, and large herds of elephants can be easily observed here.
Samburu’s arid landscape, dotted with rugged hills and the winding Ewaso Nyiro River, provide a stunning backdrop for your Lens. Unlike other reserves, Samburu is home to rare species such as Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk, often referred to as the ‘Samburu Special Five’.
The cultural immersion aspect is another highlight, you will engage with the Samburu tribe, the untamed warriors of Northern Kenya, often referred to as the butterfly people because of their striking bead work and Colourful attire.
Additionally, the reserve is a less crowded environment allowing more intimate wildlife viewing, making every safari here exceptionally personal and memorable.
Arrive for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.
Dinner & overnight at your Lodge/Camp.
Spend the day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives, seeking out predators and the Special 5. Between the drives, relax at your lodge and optionally visit a Samburu village for a cultural experience.

Laikipia is "Out of Africa". There is nowhere else that you can you feel as this. At your Camp, Laikipia Wilderness Camp, the stay offers a unique experience focused on wildlife encounters, particularly leopards (including Giza – The Black leopard, royalty among Leopards) and wild dogs, with opportunities for both vehicle-based and walking safaris.
The black panther as others call Giza, is just ethereal and breathtakingly beautiful, that no matter how many times you see her, she continues to make your eyes widen!
The camp's remote location provides a sense of intimacy with the wilderness, enhanced by activities like bush walks, night drives, and even sleep-outs under the stars.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at Laikipia Wilderness Main Camp.
