Unlike other reserves, Samburu is home to rare species such as Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk, often referred to as the ‘Samburu Special Five’.

The cultural immersion aspect is another highlight, you will engage with the Samburu tribe, the untamed warriors of Northern Kenya, often referred to as the butterfly people because of their striking bead work and Colourful attire.

Additionally, the reserve is a less crowded environment allowing more intimate wildlife viewing, making every safari here exceptionally personal and memorable.
