Your private safari adventure begins as we collect you from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Preferably before 6:00am, our driver-guide will meet you for a safari briefing and enjoy the day in Nairobi with excursions, David Sheldrick and Giraffe centre.
Your day will begin with an early morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, a chance to capture the best of what the Park hosts.
Later visit David Sheldrick Elephant orphanage inside the park. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with orphaned baby elephants. The Nursery is opened to the public for viewing and feeding every day from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. When a tiny new-born elephant is orphaned, it is often because its mother and family have been killed to serve the brutal ivory trade. During this hour, visitors can observe the baby elephants being fed with milk bottles, playing in the mud, and interacting with their keepers. Visitors can also learn about the elephants' individual stories and the Trust's conservation efforts.
Afterwards have lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant then proceed to the Giraffe Centre. This non-profit organisation was originally opened in order to protect the endangered Rothschild's giraffe that is found only on the plains of East Africa. The centre also offers free environmental education to young Kenyans and promotes conservation efforts of endangered species in the country. While on your visit you will have the opportunity of getting close to a giraffe or two as well as feed them and watch as they delicately use their long tongues to take the food from your hand. There are also a few warthogs that roam freely amongst the giraffes and a gift shop for visitors to enjoy. Unique and exhilarating, this visit will get you as close as you possibly can to a giraffe in Kenya.
